I am a lung cell in the body of Elle Wood, a seventh grader at The Reid School. I received your letter requesting that we send more oxygen to the blood and muscles. We would be happy to work harder to move the oxygen from the air sacs across the thin walls to they capillaries and into the blood up to your left side.
We have always worked so well together to make sure Elle’s body has the oxygen-rich blood that it needs to function properly and do the things it loves to do.
I am so grateful for our teamwork to keep this body moving and dancing.
Love,
Your favorite Lung Cell, Lily
