Exploding Star

Who new that stars could be so pretty. Especially when exploding. I have always wondered... Why does it do this. Well it turns out that a star will grow old like a human. But the different is that humans only live for like... 60-100 years old. But stars can live for thousands of years. And when it grows old it dies. But as a deadly explosion. But it's such a sight to see. But before that step it expands. Then does that. What would happen if the sun exploded. Well that wouldn't be pretty. Maybe our modern engineers can solve that two.
