Response: Faith's Penguin Dwelling
Faith’s Penguin Dwelling
This penguin dwelling is elevated off the ground to prevent the floor from heating it as well as let heat escape. The roof is formed from a lightweight insulating material that is wrapped in mylar. Mylar reflects light from the sun, which prevents the house from heating up. The reflected light also scares the seagulls away from the penguins' eggs. The roof also collects less heat, and raising it above the dwelling allows the airflow to keep the penguins cool.

The deign is interesting because it kind of looks like a prison for the penguins. However I do feel like the design would lend the penguins to more coolness on the inside.

Hi GRIM_BEAR,
Sorry that I am writing this very late, but this dwelling provides both coolness and the top reflects sunlight to make predatory birds stay away. However, it does indeed look like a prison, maybe that is why the penguins moved out.
Have a great day,

Hello FaithLJ,
I really like your big 3D diagram as you can see even little penguins you can see. I also like that your ground is snow for the penguins, and that the roof will deflect the warmth and keep it cool.
