Hospital in space

There are indeed many challenges that the astronauts have to face during the six month journey towards Mars . The challenges that astronauts face the most is a reduction in their bone and muscle density as well as exposure to harmful UV rays from the Sun. As of now the astronauts that have been mainly sent to space are the ones that are extremely physically fit. This is mainly because we do not have a complete understanding of what are the health factors that could be affected when humans live for a prolonged period of time in space. So before we have a complete understanding of the factors that can go wrong it is safe to send the healthiest individuals in space so that we prevent complications from occurring. That being said research should continually be performed in this area to gather as much information as possible about the health risks of being in space for a prolonged period of time. While selecting individuals that are to be sent in space we need to include scientists and doctors that are capable of synthesizing medicine With Limited number of resources. this is because it is not possible to increasingly rely on the resources of earth once a group of astronauts have been sent into space. The use of robots is possible for the treatment of diseases that we understand with a great deal of accuracy, however when an unknown challenge will be presented we cannot rely a lot on the robots to come up with a solution. In the future astronauts might use algorithms that largely amplify our computational power and be able to come up with solutions to novel challenges. The best solution would be to use a combination of human lateral thinking and the computational power of algorithms that rely on large amounts of accumulated knowledge.
