Taking supplies from Earth all the way to space will cost lots of money, she said the farther we adventure from Earth the more expensive it will be. When the astronauts get to the destination they will have to make a place to live that is clean and non-polluting to the planet. While onboard the astronauts will have to be very cautious of what they do and aware of their body at all times. Medical equipment is one-time use, so I think we need to find a way to clean these things so that they can be reused without contamination or bacteria passing onto others. While onboard the medical specialist should observe and try to find new ways to cure these medical problems. There are limited resources in space, meaning things will be reused or created. Overall, we need more time to learn how space affects humans, and get comfortable with it. If we dive headfirst into something unknown while the lives of many are in danger, it is a huge risk to take.

I agree with you that there needs to be further research in space living before we try to live long term out of the earth. It is expensive and difficult to get supplies since things do happen and it is a dangerous mission. I also agree that there are problems that need research right away before we even think about trying to get to mars like radiation protection and astronaut’s health.
