I have always been scared of spiders. So, when there is a spider on the wall, I do not like looking at it, but I have to kill it before it bites anyone. One time, there was a spider on the wall and I did not want to kill it, so my dad did it. Next time there was a spider, I had to kill it. It was very hard and scary to do this. I did this every once and a while. Eventually, I had killed many spiders and no longer hesitate at the site of a spider. I learned that it takes time, bravery, and persistence to overcome a fear.

Hello,
I can empathize with this. I am scared of bugs, and while I have gotten somewhat less scared over time, I totally relate to not wanting to kill a bug: especially if you know it has a squishy body. It definitely takes bravery to face a fear. To acknowledge you are terrified and to keep looking and embracing the situation you are in despite your fear, (be it rational or irrational), takes immense courage.
