Managing Stress

I get stressed a lot too. When I have school work piling up, I feel stressed. When I am very bored, I get stressed. When I think of certain parts of my past, I get stressed. Finally, when my puppy does not listen or bites furniture, I get stressed. What do I do?

Well before I had my puppy, I would just go on my phone and lay down on my bed. Even if it was late it would be hard putting away my phone, taking a shower, brushing my teeth and washing my face, and lastly going to bed. It just felt like so much work. Now I might get distracted by my phone but mostly I am downstairs trying to watch my puppy (if he is awake from his nap).

I just remembered something else I get stressed about. I get stressed about interacting with my friends sometimes, like what I should say. Now I try to just say what seems right at the moment without trying overthinking.

Hm… I also get stressed when I do not have good food to eat. Like there is mostly boxed or frozen food available to me. Then I think to myself, when I grow up (old enough to get a job and when covid is over or I am fully vaccinated) I want to get enough money to buy healthier and tasty foods.

I get stressed too when I think of school. Like how much work I need to get done before the 21st (next week). Also I need to watch my puppy and take him out when he is awake from a nap. Another way I can think of it though… is that I am happy school is ending so I can spend more time with Leo my puppy. I can watch more videos on how to train him too. I don’t have to focus on school as much. I will have a French summer class, but it is not bad and it is pretty fun. So I am excited about that.

The truth is, I don’t have many effective ways to reduce my stress. Hopefully when I read the two other posts here, I can find something that I can try!
