Some instances that I feel stressed are when I must complete and turn in assignments in a timely manner. For example, right now I am catching up in my English class. It can be very difficult if I say to myself that I must complete these assignments by a certain time because then the pressure gets to me. Instead, one thing that I do to combat stress is to work at my own pace. Yes, I still need to complete assignments by the deadline. But instead of rushing at the last minute, I complete a certain number of assignments a day. Even days where I do not complete the daily goal of maybe 3 assignments, I just realize that I must do 4 the next day to account for the loss. In this way I pace myself and allow myself to work freely without having to worry about the total 10 missing assignments to complete.
