I wasn’t able to go on a hike, but I did go out in my neighbourhood and make observations there instead. I made different observations for different senses. I saw that the sun was shining through clouds, the wind was gently blowing trees, and the tree in front of me was green and tall. I could hear the wind, as well as cars off in the distance. I could feel the ground beneath my feet. I could smell the air, and it smelt like damp ground. From all my observations, I could infer that it had rained recently, and that the wind was fairly weak though still there because of storms that had happened recently.

This is awesome! Way to use your 5 senses. It’s almost as though listing observations is the start to pretty prose and poetry!

That is so cool you have such a great way of describing it that I felt like I could actually see it.

Hello-
Going on walks is such a meditative and calming thing to experience. I definitely like noticing my 5 senses while doing this especially when I am getting really stressed out. I like that you incorporated all 5 and in such vivid detail! Good job!
