Placebo Effect

I think that at the time the placebo effect was created it was very helpful as had been stated in the video. I also think that in the field of psychology and medicine, the placebo can be very effective in finding out which medications work. However, I do think there could be a lot of controversy about whether or not it might break any ethical guidelines. In the video, it had talked about how the brain could be pulled into this and that it is an unexplainable phenomenon. I do think that our brain effects the way we think about the placebo effect and that it is caused by the cognitive thinking area of our brain.
