The Magic of Trees

There are many differences between resin and sap that contribute to surface level and structurally. On the surface, the sap is appeared to be a thin, watery substance that flows out of trees. These substances are usually what create syrups such as maple syrup. Resin, on the other hand, is a more vicious, stickier liquid that comes out of a tree in response to an injury or insect attack. The structural difference between these two includes thicker building blocks within the resin and thinner, almost transparent ones in the sap.
