Assuming that this video is correct on the thought that in 40 years twice the amount of food will be needed, then some serious development in the agricultural industries will be needed. I have heard of many facilities that use artificial lighting to grow plants, and my question is would that be possible on a larger scale, could perhaps skyscrapers be built to house crops? I am sure that as the world develops there will be more breakthroughs, and I am excited to see developments in this very interesting field that can be effected so heavily by weather.
