Why do we Dream

I don’t really dream that much anymore. To be completely honest, I can’t remember the last time I’ve gotten a perfect 8 hours of sleep to have perfect long dreams or even lucid dreams. I always sleep less than 8 hours or more than 8 hours, but never the perfect number. One last dream that I remember was when I was little in a hot air balloon. I was alone in the air balloon high above the clouds with the bright sun and a rainbow to the left of me. I was confused on how exactly I had gotten there, but also admired the beauty of nature. Suddenly the balloon went out of control and started flying down into the clouds. After falling for around 30 straight seconds of harsh winds and darkness from the lack of sun, I had went back towards the surface to see lighting and storms all around. It was very dangerous for me to be in that situation in a hot air balloon so much and I had no idea what to do. Then I woke up. I believe that this dream is a way of telling me to be careful on which path I decide to take in life. Although the choices I make may be good and lead to fortune and prosperity, I must also be careful because one wrong choice can lead to chaos. I take this dream to heart and try to live by it, making the right choice and show truth in most choices I make. It is hard sometimes, but the dream shows that it is possible for me to become a better person.
