Why we dream

I haven’t had any recent dream that I can remember, but I do remember the last one I had. The last one I had was a few months after my uncle passed away. When I was dreaming it was like there was a small family gathering and he was there. I asked him how he’s here if he’s supposed to be gone and he said he was never dead. That was probably the weirdest dream I have ever had.
