Mary grew up in an orphanage in Uganda. As part of the 1Pormise Foundation Collective, we’d love to share her story. She met Dut when he came to Uganda to help at the orphanage where she lived. She was given the means and support through Dut and other Organizations, she worked hard to succeed. Now as an adult she wants to give back to other girls who might not have had the means they need to succeed in life. Mary along with Motherly Heart is raising a Girl Child Fund to help with Secondary Education specifically in the Basia district of Uganda. When young girls in Africa have a full education it will surely change their life for the better. Follow along to learn where the funds will be distributed and how they will help the girls of Basia.
