Three of my classmates, Amanda, Cindy and Kati, took the initiative to plant trees at Playa Penca and clean Potrero. Therefore, they reached out to the class in order for this activity to take place. They split the group in half: one cleaned the town while the other planted trees on the beach. During this activity I learned about being grateful for those who care for the planet. I was also impacted on how some people do not receive a good education by throwing garbage and not caring about the panet. But, I’ve concluded that our generation is the one taking action for a better world. Likewise, personally I felt valuable making change in our community. I was pleased knowing that each time we picked a piece of plastic, we were saving hundreds of marine animals who day to day die because of human ignorance. Everywhere I go, I will spread knowledge about this issue. To teach future generations on how to save the marine world. Everysingle classmate member was being risk takers, reflective, principled, knowledgeable, balanced, thinkers, open-minded, inquirers, caring and communicators because every single one of us decided to make a change and fight for a less contaminated world.
