This week I have continued work on teaching Manchas the command word. It is going well and he is beginning to understand it better. Next week I will bring my parents to give me other perspectives as well as help me train the dog, because they have been doing it longer and are older. It is great to be teaching these dogs new things, and if this project succeeds I will know that I am responsible enough to get a dog in the future. One thing that is a little difficult is that it seems that every week the tide and swell falls perfectly on thursday, the day that I picked for this project. It is annoying sometimes but I know that it is currently just bad luck and I will see tomorrow if getting a ride from my parents instead of the bus will make it possible for me to surf after the project.
