Amanda- Journal Entry October 6th 2019

On October 6th there was a beach clean up in Potrero Beach which was organized by Youth Taking Action, Abriendo Mentes and Connect Ocean. There was a meeting for the clean up to happen which helped the event go as organized as possible. There was an approximate of 100 attendees which help pick up trash since 8am to 10 am. I learned the importance of taking care of others since some volunteers were offering sunscreen and were taking care of the ones among them. Next time I will make sure to be as attentive to the others as much as they were to me that day.
