Amanda- Mind Map reflection October 21 2019

Once we grabbed our poster paper to do our mind map we struggled to write omething down. The Youth Taking Action projects are so differnet to each other and abarc various community problems. We didnt really knwo where to start. However, we decided to divived the porejcts in three different stems: social, animal and enviromental. Kati decided to brainstrom the possible projects related to humans and society since she is really interested in helping homeless people and women in need. Cindy decided to take the enviromental side since its something that she is really passionate about for a long time. I decided to take the animal aspect of the brainstorming since all my live I have been rescuing dogs and its something I have lots of dedication and devotion for. Being balanced and risk takers we decided to take on projects we wouldnt normally do but also have around the same amount of projects for each stem of Youth Taking Action. Seeing the poster board filled with diffent ideas and projects made me realize the way three girls with different interest came together for one purpose, to help improve our communities. It really opened my mind since Kati brought up projects I wouldve not considered doing by myself that is helping the people in the community. Now I even create projects of my own and share them to my teammates.
