Balance Sheets

In an effort to explore Disney - and continue on our path of learning - we dug into Balance Sheets again this week. The boys are able to create a Balance Sheet and understand the elements on a balance sheet and why they are allocated into the sections. They were introduced to liquidity ratios and are able to calculate them.

We looked at Disney's balance sheet and calculated the current ratio. But we didn't get much farther than that! We are off to Disney next week and I look forward to the trip but worry a bit that it is more fun than educational. But maybe that is the way to look at it - lean into the fun and see what comes out of it!
