Where are you in comparison to your Gantt Chart? Are you on track? Was there anything added that you forgot about? Are you behind and why?:
I am ahead on my Gantt Chart. On my Gantt Chart, I hadn’t set a specific date for the Coffee House, but I did set a deadline, that of which I’m ahead of. The deadline was set for October 31st, which means I am 2 weeks ahead of schedule.
And what are you proud of? Show it and tell me why:
I am very proud of the turnout of the first Coffee House. The audience was very supportive of the event, and there were more participants than I anticipated. There were different forms of art presented. From a full-on band performing to 5 Rubix Cubes being solved within 3 minutes, this Coffee House made me extremely proud and grateful for the way everything turned out!
What could have been done better? Talk about that and talk about how you can change your tactics in the future:
The communication between Profe Jose and myself was the most notable area of improvement. We hadn’t talked to each other much before the actual date of the Coffee House. This caused a lot of confusion between both parties. We weren’t the clearest on the structure of the Coffee House and how we would present it. It ended up successful, however. Jose had done the set up of technical equipment that lies within his expertise and I hosted the event and communicated with the children. The communication could be improved by having more consistent meetings and allowing more time for us to plan ahead.
