In what ways do our values affect the representation of the world? The way we look at certain aspects or situations creates values towards them. Values are basic and fundamental beliefs that guide or motivate attitudes or actions. They help us determine what is important to us. Values perceive points of view that are unique in every individual. Culture is an important aspect of our project because we will be taking these teenagers to a whole new culture that they have never experienced or lived in. As well, we will need to show the values through different perspectives to make them understand what they will experience. When we take these students on the trip the way we project the experience towards them will affect the values of their excitement and interest in the trip. We want them to remember this experience as one of their best memories. But as Costa Ricans, we are going to show our own perspective on how their experience will be making the values different from an American that has more knowledge on the place we are taking them. We transmit two different perspectives of values towards that culture. In our school, we have a variety of different cultures in which many students come from and most of them are from the USA which is the country we are striving to go to. The way they value the culture of their country is different from Ashley and mine. This created a variety of perspectives that they will acquire making them have different representations of the world, more specifically the place they will hopefully be taken to. In the object chosen I personally connect it to my experience because it was very similar to what they would experience. When I get the opportunity to the values I persuasive towards the experience, what different from when I actually go to live it. Making me have a different perspective on its values.
