Cata 28/10/2020 Evidence Journal entry

This week I sent out an email for the families of La Paz to know about the different ways in which they can contribute to the Canastas Básicas. However, the principal did not approve it and I couldn't send it to the families… I am trying to figure out why the email could not get sent through Quickschools and if it is necessary I will write one again. I also contacted Tatiana which is incharge of the scholarship program and I asked her about why the email didn't get sent and if I could start tutoring scholarship students after school or during CAS class. I have not received a response yet… I feel like I could be doing a lot more right now. I was excited to plan halloween this year, but due to corona, that was not possible. So I am a little bummed because my whole CAS project had to change and I actually enjoyed planning events and tutoring students every Tuesday afterschool. With the Canastas Basicas, I feel like I am not doing a lot because there isn't a lot to do. I just had to send the email with the Go Fund Me link but because I couldn't send it, now I can't do anything else. The Canastas Basicas are pretty well organized, the only help they needed was with the Go Fund Me link but that is done... I don't think that I am being productive in terms of my project because I have not made progress so far. I think I will wait for Tatis response about the scholarship student tutoring and if I can't do that then I am going to start a new project that will make me be busy and have more opportunities in ways I can help my community.
