Lately, I have been doing different kinds of training for Chirripo which is coming up in May. Usually, I go hiking early every morning with my mom, and we hike up a mountain near my house. It has a very pretty view when you get to the top and it is fun to go there in the mornings. However, with all of the rain lately, we can’t do this as often because it’s mostly raining all day. This means that we’ve been looking for different ways to stay active when we can’t go hiking. During summer break, I had been doing a lot of workouts from a YouTuber named Chloe Ting and they are super fun. We decided to do one yesterday instead of our usual hike. Although it was a bit challenging sometimes, I really liked it and will definitely do it more often. It reminds me of warmups I used to do in dance so it was nice to be reminded of those fun times. My favorite part is the music that plays in the background because it helps me get in the right mindset and makes it more enjoyable. Overall, I will definitely do it again. I think today we are doing Zumba (my mom is very excited about it) so that should be fun. 🙂
