Cindy – February 2nd 2020 Journal Entry #13

During this day I was helping a political party with the name of "Partido Integración Nacional" in my town. The elections were made in each province of the country and even though I am not still legal to vote, I was volunteering from 7:30am to 2:00pm in order to guide people who could vote and invite the community by going to their houses and giving information about the importance of using this right. Throughout the experience I could put into practice some skills that I have acquired thanks to the International Baccalaureate such as: inquirer and balanced since I could learn much more about the process of election of my country which will help me when it comes my time to vote. Also, I was balanced because even though I have to be organized and turn in all my assignments in time for school I made some space to be part of this experience which was of much importance for the whole country.
