Cindy / Journal Entry #53 – Jan 18, 2021

At the beginning of this year I decided to start working out again with the goal of improving my health before my physical appearance. I used to have a great resistance at running and working out in general, but with time I lost it due to lack of mobility. I realized that I could not work out for seasons but rather create a schedule incorporating exercise in order to make it part of my lifestyle. This is why I started training with a personal trainer and my social bubble. I have beein training 3 times a week and have noticed how my sleeping schedule is improving since the level of tiredness makes me go to bed early. This has made me put into practice the Ib skill of balance and commitment since I need to organize my time effectively during the week days to be sure I am on time for the training as well as being committed to finish all the exercises given. Some obstacles that I have faced are my resistance and feeling of not being able to do it. I have overcome these by maintaining a positive attitude and support from my social bubble as well as not procrastinating but rather pushing myself always being aware of how my body feels to not push it to the extreme. This mentality has helped me keep moving forward with this new goal of incorporating exercises as my daily life.
