Spreading Compost yields a Serendipitous Convivial Neighbor Connection!

It's late Aug and in preparation for the arrival of the native plants from the Utah Pollinator Program and the trees from Arbor Day Foundation I spread 2 cubic yards of Organic Mountain Compost over the area we plan to plant. The plants and trees will arrive late Sept/early Oct. As I was doing this, a lovely woman from the neighborhood came into the yard to share how much she has appreciated our natural space on her walks and to ask how to get her yard certified and whether our nextdoor neighbors are supportive. We had a lovely chat, shared contact information and inspired each other to keep supporting Nature to do what she knows how to do.
