What does it mean to be creative?
I think being creative is to add your own touch to things, whether it be making something or decorating.
What is your favorite way to express your creative side? What do you like about it?
I love making gifts for my friends. My love language is gift giving and I love making trinkets so whenever I find myself with time or stress on my hands I will usually make some jewelry or little trinkets to give to someone. I love it because it makes for a good creative outlet for me that doesn’t negatively impact others and it means I always have something for peoples birthdays.
What do you do when you get an idea?
I usually immediately work on that idea or I write it down, I have a very bad memory and a lot of ideas so my best bet is to do something that will allow me to remember it later on. When I get ideas that seem plausible I get really excited and motivated to work on them. I love starting new projects, but I struggle to finish them.
Do you feel more creative by yourself or when you work with others? Why do you think this is?
I feel much more creative when I work with others, I have a very scattered mind so one though will lead to another almost completely unrelated one. Working with others keeps me a bit more focused and so it is easier to stay on task. I also think that when I work with others I not only am more creative, I am more efficient, we can brainstorm if our plan or idea even would work out and if there was something we would need to fix first.
How have you shown creativity in you CAS project? How can you use that to promote your project to others?
I definitely have, we had to make our neurodivergence presentation engaging and interesting for our audience and soon I will be working with Keylor to organize Dia de las Mascaradas which will take a whole lot of planning and creative ideas. At the moment we have a brainstorm document because it is still fairly early to start on set plans.
