Dia De Las Mascaradas
This was one of my classmates' CAS events that I was able to help out with. It was on Friday October 28th and was in celebration of Halloween. It was from 5:00 to 7:30 and included games, food, costume contest, capture the flag, a haunted house, and a performance of ‘Thriller’ from the high school. I helped out with setting up some of the game activities and rooms and then I sold tickets for games and food at the front. There were a lot more people that came than expected so many of the challenges came with not having enough tickets and having to sell them as fast as possible so we could get people through the line. I was glad that I was at a station that mostly only needed my attention in the beginning of the night so I was able to walk around and see all of the activities for the end part of the night. It was super fun and successful and I was really happy to be a part of it and help out my classmates in hosting this event.
