What connections did I find with areas outside of Guanacaste?
Starting this motivational speakers project it involved me finding contacts for people to speak at the school from anywhere in the world. I have found contacts in our local area of Guanacaste, but also used Jonatan, a person who lives in San Jose as one of my speakers. Of course this speech was done online because of covid-19 protocols. Some of my other contacts are in Canada which is also my second home and I have family there.
What were the outcomes of the project for me, the team that I was working with, for others? How did that change my perspective of the project?
The outcomes of my project for me are to bring motivation to our school, that being students and teachers through these speakers amazing stories. I also want a chance for these speakers to be heard as they have great advise that everyone can use. Through this idea of my project being involved with motivation in which I was lacking at the beginning of last year, it even brings me motivation to keep on going.
What were my perceptions of the project when I started?
Initially I had the perception of creating better spirit at our school and to actually have something impactful to do for my CAS project. I had previous ideas of being able to bring people to the school but with Covid I have to conduct my speeches online, which could change depending on protocols.
