Getting started

Youth Taking Action started before we were official IB students. Our first event was the castration campaign in Huacas in which we learned more about the social aspect and animal aspect of our community. Once we came back to school after the long summer we were excited to expose our ideas to our classmates. These ones joined us on a day field trip to Playa Penca in which we reforested the beach and cleaned the garage around said location. It was a beautiful experience of group work and coordination between us and the teachers chaperoning.
