Journal Entry #2

1. What is the meaning of CAS to you? Why is it something that is required by the IB and the MEP? Why did you choose to do your project? What resources are available to help you succeed?

The meaning of CAS to me is a project that involves and brings the community together. It required by the IB and the MEP because it a service that you are giving as a student to your community, and it a way to complement the 7 areas o learning in your real life. In addition to the real-life situation, I will be showing commitment and perseverance to not give up and make as much as possible to bring the community and schools together based on port connection. 

2. How has CAS changed because of COVID? Or has it? Have the communities needs changed? If so, how? If not, explain.

CAS has changed because of Covid because I was planning to make a tournament for the community, at the same time because of the Covid everything is close making it hard for public events to happen. This makes the Soccer fields in the community are close making it harder for sports to play. In the future, everything will be open again so it just a matter of time to see what happens in the future. With patience, I would develop a new area of growth where I am being exposed to a challenge that I have to make sure I overcome and adjust my project to the new challenges. 

3. Evaluate the project that you are doing. Is there a way to start the project over the summer, at least lay the ground work? If not, why? Is so, how and what will you do?

I am planning to start my project today, I will be sending a Gmail to the director of my school to be informed and be caught up on what we can do and what we cant do. I speak with him before he told me that he was hopeful for this future tournament. I will be sent the plan and the requirement for this tournament to happened.
