Journal Entry #3: Summer

During summer vacation I decided to bring service to my community in a creative way by organizing a fut 5 team. Where every Monday at 6 pm we would go to Huacas to the fut 5 local court and play against another local team. Frist my team started with my friends from town, later on, we could tell people from different parts to come to play with us.  Some areas of growth and strength I develop were responsibility and commitment. This is because every Monday I haded to show a lot of organization with my team to show the commitment to go and play. This made me act in a more responsible way to check in the group chat with good communication with my teammates.    Some challenges during this process were being a problem solver because during our journey we could become across problems like bad communication and sometimes some of our players could lack the capacity of economic problems to pay the court of the transportation since we could take the bus to go to our games. These experiences show me that I could have to compromise more by helping people that lack resources like money or for example, I become a player that was really good but his mom would not let him go so I had to talk to his mom and become with a solution. Some skills I developed from these challenges were compromisation and dedication with a little bit of problem-solving.
