Journal Entry #6 Week 2/ Off a Good Start

At the begging of my project, I am feeling very strong and confident because I feel I started with good steps. I manage to be responsible and took a big step in my confidence space to get my team together and start the training sessions. My strategies were things like managing my team very well and using my strengths to the max to become the captain that the team needed. My SMART goal is to provide a good soccer environment between schools that will deliver and have team building and a good and healthy competitive environment where the communities and school can have a very meaningful soccer tournament. We can view these goals for the next 2 years of my building relationships between school and leading the soccer team into many games and tournaments to represent the school and most importantly the values I want to transmit when I play soccer like for example effort, determination, humbleness, and the most relevant happiness throw the love of a sport. My perceptions on this project are very good because I am bringing social activity on a soccer team making good relationships, at the same time we are doing exercise building many values like effort and discipline in training in participation. I think this project does solve the needs in the community because we are re-building the connection lost throw the local schools and we are connecting these relationships again. Another need is the need for exercise and playing in the outdoors since students don't have another team or way of exercising now they have practice twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday after school. Some people willing to help are the soccer coach and P.E teacher Jose, The director of the school Mr. Abel we have his support and check. Another more personal is Leo the swimming coach because he helps me build confidence since he trains me in the past and is a very important tutor for me personally. The vision of this project is to have many soccer games and tournaments between local schools, this would benefit the community because we are teaching values in a team such as responsibility and determination and we are engaging the fiscal activities outdoors again.
