During the beginning of my CAS experience I didn’t have a good communication skill. Throughout my life I’ve been characterized for being an introverted person and this has been present in different situations in my school. Nevertheless thanks to my CAS project I had to develop this skill in order to accomplish my objectives and help my community, I had to keep communication with the members of my CAS project, and with members of my community in order to create activities and do volunteer work with different institutes around my community.

In the beginning of my project we had to keep communication with an institution in charge of restoring the flora of our community, I didn’t had a well communication with the people in charge of the institution since I was shy of speaking to them about our objectives and how we wanted to help them, so my partner of the CAS project had to be the medium of communication between them and us, which is an experience of how I failed during this situation.

On the other hand a couple of months ago I created my HR project which was based on helping in some way our community through online platforms, and during this project I decided to give extra english classes to a student from second grade of my school. Throughout this project I had to keep a good communication between the parents in charge of the kid and the second grade english teacher. An obstacle during this experience was that the student was coming late to each of our classes so I had to use my communication skill to communicate with her parents in order to resolve the issue. Overall CAS has reinforced my skills.
