Last 11th grade Journal Entry

Challenges faced this year – 

The biggest challenge that not only me but my whole class faced was the overall issue of Covid-19 and how it rejected the idea to make connections with other people for around 3-quarters of the year. This made it hard since I had different projects at the beginning of the year that made it hard as new Covid regulations were constantly being implemented.

Greatest accomplishment this year –

The greatest success from this year was the day I was able to present with Jonatan to the whole school and provide them with that motivation that I didn’t have throughout the school year. This happened on June 29th. My mother played a large role in helping me get through this year and providing me with Jonatan’s contact as they used to work together, helping me with a large part of my CAS project.

Mindset for next year – 

For a while, at the start of the year, I didn’t have the best mindset when it came to CAS since I wasn’t exactly able to get as much accomplished as I would have hoped for, making me feel guilty and inadequate for not getting much done in the first half of the year. But ending strong with this presentation improves my mentality and gives me the motivation to continue doing this for next year.
