What were your biggest challenges of the year and how did you overcome them or how are you working to overcome them? Our biggest challenge of the year was dealing with COVID. For our initial project, we had a lot of problems with covid protocols in different countries, specifically the US, which prevented us from making it happen. We overcame this by thinking about new project ideas that could happen during the pandemic, so we decided to help our local community of Brasilito. We are still working on overcoming it by making precise plans that are accurate for the project and that will lead us to success. What was your greatest success of the year? Tell me about it! Our greatest success of the year was being able to establish a new project where we could donate clothes, food, and many other things to families in need from Playa Brasilito, we have had the opportunity to interact with them, know this family better to do the fact that they have let us understand and help them out with donations. One of the most amazing things we have done was being able to donate. Get donations from families of our schools Kids from our school were really happy and excited to donate to us to win a contest. And donate clothes to little kids from the town of Brasilito and see them very happy to have new clothes. What or who helped you get through this year? Tell me about it or them! This year we got help from multiple people, starting with our teachers Miss Amy and profe Alberto. They were our biggest supporters during this year because they were guiding us through the process and kept us motivated during those difficult times. As well, we got support from Abby Erdmann, which helped us get an idea of how our Boston Project would work and what steps we needed to take. After changing our project we got support from Stephanie's mom and Ashley's dad. Stephanie's mom would always support us by making the empanadas and sometimes even lowering the price from us and Ashley's dad was our biggest financial support because donates some funds to some aspects of our project like the pinata and the food donation. We also got multiple support from the chirripo campus and the Arenal campus with a donation contest. We really appreciate all the support/help we have gotten this year. How will you commit to having a healthy mindset next year? We committed to donate all of the items we have left from families of our school, and keep getting to know the families of Brasilito. So we are going to have a healthy mindset next year because we are going to know better the needs of these people and work hard to commit and finally get to our final goal which is giving something back to the community even if the help is small.
