Which quote resonates with your reasoning for choosing your CAS project? Explain
The quote that most relates to my CAS project is "People protect what they love." by Jacques Cousteau because at the beginning I was doubting doing a garden with Dani because of Covid but I took the decision to concentrate fully on the team and on the soccer tournament because at the end of the day is what I love most about soccer. I am grateful for taking this decision every day, I really feel I chose the correct way to go for CAS this two years of IB.
Which quote resonates with you now that you have undertaken some aspects of your CAS project? Explain
The quote that resonates with me now is "You gave me your time, the most important gift of all." Dan Zandra, because now I understand the weight of the captain and how my time is more valuable than ever. This also reflects how I don't have time to lose I have to plan, things train hard and learn and teach as much as possible. My time management has to be very critical since it involves how I get better and on how much I get done.
How do you feel about the class at this moment? Explain
I like the class because it's when I do my reflections and it is when we take the important decisions. During class time we take a break and we reflect on what are our next steps and all the involvement and progression along with the project. We also check with Ms. Amy on how we are doing.
Do the quotes inspire you to do things differently? Why or why not?
These quotes inspire me in the way that this is only the beginning. I have to keep up the hard work and continue to grow and become stronger. Even if I am a step closer to my goal I have to keep working as if it never happened. I have to keep going, I have to keep learning and showing my values through soccer. And the most important thing is that I always have to remember where I come from.
