Meeting Mowanas (Baobabs)

We travelled by vehicle, Makoro and foot to stand with some of the damaged Mowanas that needed to be pasted to protect them from further damage by the elephants. The most sacred to Tebogo was the one on his father's island where he, his father and his grandfather had been born. In his culture it is believed that one's ancestors reside in the Mawanas. One week later, before Tebogo could get back with supplies to paste this family member, the last few frames show that the elephants returned and this sacred giant fell.
