Momentum Journal Entry

After reading the article of 10 ways to gain momentum in life, and found out that I would succeed a lot more if I created a schedule for my week. This will be one of my steps during CAS this week since I need to organize myself with my academic and social life.

In this schedule, I’d include the activities I need to do after school, an example can be “work on CAS for this amount of time”, then have “work on homework for this amount of time”. I will include other categories like free time and a designated time for basketball and surfing. I believe this will help me not only with school but also being organized in general, it also goes into the plan & initiate activities learning outcomes since I’m planning and initiating my day through a schedule.

One way to stay true and follow this schedule is to stay motivated and want to change. I lack organization when it comes to activities and what I need to work on and what I shouldn’t, and an example of this can be when I’m playing video games when I should be doing homework. A picture of my schedule will be posted on a different log and after every week it might be modified to fit in the specifics of what I need.

A specific activity I’m doing for my CAS project today is going to Cartagena after school and scouting out local businesses and possibly seeing if I can get the attention of any business that wants to help out with giving space for a certain amount of time. This is the beginning step for this second part of my project. I also want to scout the public school there and possibly talk to a student about how online school has gone for them.

This is super interesting. I never would have thought about Cartegena but that is a valid option. Looking forward to reading the next journal entry about your trip.
Next time leave me a picture of the lists that you are making for the week and if you are forming any new habits. Remember that it takes 21 days to create those habits. So stick to it!
