Plans to continue CAS

What are my first steps for this trimester? First I needed to know what the current situation with Covid was and the specific protocols in order for me to carry out my motivational speaker CAS project. I sent an email to Allan the head of operations at La Paz so that he could inform me on what the current situation is with Covid and the possibility of bringing in a speaker to the school. His response – He mentioned that with a lot of students, teachers, and staff being vaccinated and not fully exposed to the virus, protocols have not been as strict and recommended that I could bring in the speaker into a class bubble and have him present through one class and the rest connect online. The other option was possibly doing it in a big open space then everyone can be present while the person presents, allowing more engagement with the students. Next steps – I now need to speak with Ms. Martha as she knows people who might be interested in sharing their story, in particular a person who has been involved with drug addiction and what it did to his life, and his recovery story.
