Update: Second day of online learning
Second day of online learning
I loved the beginning of the class when we were able to share our feelings through a visual representation of our feelings. We are all having similar thoughts as shown by the padlet. The expectations were presented and are as follows:
There will be a zoom call for 45 minutes every week where we can all chat and brainstorm together. I will send out the link to your email.
You also will need to check in with me one on one by a medium of your choice where I can see your face when we talk once a week.
The assignments need to be completed by Friday at 4 so that I can look over them before the Monday of the next week. I will send out assignments for the upcoming week by Friday at 4 so that you have a full week to do them.
I want to see you try!
Use assignment sheet instead of google classroom.
And my last reflection is that Kahoot works and I will try another way to test vocabulary next week. When the Quizlet live didn't work I froze. I couldn't think of what to do next and have been on so many meetings with people trying to make things work and just sitting there I immediately wanted to end the call. So I did. However, I still had a couple of things to say. In the future, I am going to try to roll with the mess ups a little bit more.
I can continue to practice before the calls, research ways to make online learning engaging and get feedback. I hope that next week goes better because I had a hard time getting motivated yesterday. Today is a new day and I am excited for the one on ones that are scheduled.
One thing that I forgot to mention to everyone is that you can do this project in Spanish if the audience that you are working with speaks only Spanish.
