September 27, 2019: Julie Climate Change Strike

On September 27th, the 11th and 10th graders took an hour out of our school day to try to make a change. We walked down the road chanting, until we got to the side of a main road. At the main road we showed our signs to all the cars passing and many of them honked to cheer us on. This demonstrates engagement with issues of global importance because climate change is a global issue that is rapidly affecting our world and we need to do something about it.
