Advancing with my project:
I’ve begun scheduling a date to do the motivational event with Jonatan. I’ve been in contact with him and he mentioned that he would be available at the end of June since he needs time to make a presentation that conforms to a time period of 30-45 minutes.
Allan Brenes, the leader of the Operations team here at La Paz, and I have been in contact and have also been discussing an exact date that this could work, I mentioned Jonatan can present towards the end of June and I’m waiting for a response.
Doing CAS has been hard during these times of Covid, not being able to interact with people and make connections has hindered my full ability to learn new experiences, but it’s forced me to problem-solve and think of a new approach. Originally I wanted to do these Motivational Speeches in person, but I can do it through Zoom since no one is allowed to be together, that way I can still get the stories of these speakers out and motivate others to overcome any struggle they have.
I also had Covid for a bit and had to stay out of school for a certain amount of time. This made it hard since I was stuck alone at home and couldn’t learn in person. I wasn’t able to get as much work as wanted during this time since I was sick and couldn’t get out of bed.
I am currently recovered and back in school, along with doing some work I missed while out, I am back on track and giving it my all.
