Stacy – Journal Entry September 7,2020 ¨Update¨

Is this project still feasible? If so, how? This project is still feasible. Students Sponsoring Students will continue with online teaching. What does the end of the project look like, the same or different? Why? I´ve been thinking about the ¨end¨ for this project. However, my idea was to pass it on to another scholarship and none scholarship student. This way, the next leading scholarship student will keep that connection between what makes her/him special at La Paz. And the none scholarship students will have an opportunity to have a different perspective of the scholarship program at La Paz. Students Sponsoring Students has been passed on over time. I think the project over time has developed as one itself. It's been another entity for the school. It would be sad to end, since the school has grown with it since Bianca started it. A space for students to be engaged with the community doesn't happen easily. What are the steps that you are taking this week, next week and the week after to create evidence of your work and move your project forward? The next steps I am taking this week in order for the project to keep developing is making a proposal for Kenia, Abel and Allan. The main message will consist of accomplishing scholarship students educational growth in regards to learning at school with CAS students as tutors. Also, in order for the project to continue, I have to contact Tatiana and ask for the main students who need major help and search for the subject. And last, look for CAS students who are interested in tutoring scholarship students. Who are you collaborating with? How is that going? Do you need a meeting? So far, I will be meeting with Tatiana. And reaching out to Ms. Kenia, Mr. Abel and Allan. What resources do you need? For the proposal, I will for sure need Ms. Amy´s help to revise it in order for correct grammar, missing points, etc…
