To carry out this project in the Okavango Delta terrain, a specially modified older vehicle without any electrical systems (that can short out) is required. It needs tow hooks, spot lights, a Snorkel for deep water traverse, heavy duty shocks, raised heavy duty suspension, side steps for a high lift jack, sealed toolbox, reserve fuel tank, cargo bars, in-bed spare and tow hitch. Teddy found this 2003 Toyota Land Cruiser 79 4.2L truck in Gaborone after enduring many challenges including a bus tyre blow out on the overnight bus from Maun to Gaborone. Nothing could dampen his determination.
