True Colors Journal Entry (3/10/2021)

Explain, what did you take away from reflecting on your own personal color style and that of others in the group? What I took away from our field trip last week were the traits the gold people have. I felt identified with the strength of organization and planning, and with the values of loyalty and honesty. What observations can you make about the type of personal styles that we have as a group? The observations I made in my gold group are: We don’t all have the same values, strengths, needs, and joys. We demonstrate our personality traits in different ways. Is there a complementary color to yours? Explain which one and why. What are ways we can take this information into our work in class or in our CAS projects to work collaboratively in positive ways? I think a blue person would match gold very well. The blue strengths and needs have some similarities to the golds. The blues are good listeners and the golds are good with organization and planning, these traits would benefit each other when working together.
