Today was the day that I brought in Jonatan Rodriguez to La Paz through a Zoom call. It was planned earlier in the week where I would be taking up the Advisory block, presenting my CAS project to the whole high school of La Paz.
It was super exciting to finally be able to bring in Jonatan and have him present his amazing story to the students and I would say that it was a huge success. This gives me the motivation to find people with inspiring stories like that of Jonathan, and bring them to the school.
The aspect of it being online made it a little more difficult since all advisory groups had to unmute and mute every time and at times someone would go unheard. But that’s part of the online aspect that is expected, I’m hoping I’m able to actually bring a speaker to La Paz but that would depend on Covid circumstances.
