WildMap Camp is the home base for WildMap Conservation, a Botswana non-profit organization dedicated to conservation, education, and community stewardship in the Okavango Delta.
WildMap Conservation was founded and is led by Tebogo Monnaaphuthego, whose work is supported through The Wonderment Cooperative.
Our primary focus is the protection of wilderness and the education of the next generation of Batswana conservationists through hands-on learning, mentorship, and community-based conservation.
WildMap Camp is a working conservation camp, created to support this mission and to welcome collaborators, supporters, researchers, and learners who wish to engage with the work.
We are not a commercial safari operation and are not intended to compete with nearby safari camps for tourism. Rather, we hope to complement the broader conservation community by strengthening long-term stewardship of the Delta.
WildMap Camp exists to nurture right relationship between people and the living world, ensuring that conservation is rooted in community, learning, and long-term care for the Okavango Delta.
