BONUS PATH: Acts of Kindness

Doing nice things for others can brighten up the world. It’s like a domino effect of good vibes! Not only does it make you feel awesome, but it can also give you a confidence boost and put a smile on your face. Plus, when you spread kindness, it’s contagious! You might inspire others to do good deeds too, making our community a cooler and happier place for everyone.

Kindness Brainstorm

  • Start by reflecting on what you’re truly grateful for in your community. Think about if these blessings are universally enjoyed or if some might not have the same access or opportunity. This awareness is key.
  • With that reflection in mind, brainstorm a list of kind actions you could take this week. Aim for ideas that genuinely consider the needs and emotions of others around you.
  • Choose one act of kindness from your list to execute within the next week. Make it a SMART goal: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Timely. Think ahead about any obstacles you might face and how you could overcome them. Keep track of this plan in your preferred organizational tool from last module.

Reflection

  • After completing your act of kindness, it’s time to reflect. Share your experiences on the path, covering these points:
    • Describe the act of kindness you chose.
    • How did your act of kindness benefit others?
    • How did you feel while carrying out the act of kindness?
    • How can you incorporate similar acts of kindness into your daily life moving forward?
